How to Pray for Others

Thank you so much for your contribution, we truly appreciate you! With our clothes you're going to start standing out and representing the Lord, and that means people are going to come up to you. If someone asked for prayer, would you know what to say? Well, here's a cheat sheet! This will cover in person prayer and remote.

How to Get Started

  • Name them specifically — Bring each person before God by name. He knows them, but there's power in speaking it.
  • Really listen to them and ask the Lord to intercede — Ask God what they truly need, not just what you think they need.
  • Stand in the gap — Sometimes people can't pray for themselves. Your prayer covers them.
  • Be persistent — Don't give up after one prayer. Keep bringing them before God.

A Simple Prayer for Others

"God, I lift up [name] to You. You know what they're going through better than I do. Bring peace to their mind, healing to their body, and draw them closer to You. Cover them with Your grace. In Jesus' name, Amen."

You don't have to have the right words. A willing heart is enough. Matthew 18:19
